July 18, 2017 -- Marc Sorin secured dismissal of lawsuit against a family-owned Mississippi restaurant in alleged slip and fall.

Plaintiff alleged that she slipped and fell on what she speculated was a negligently-painted handicap ramp.  At the conclusion of discovery and on the eve of trial, the Court granted Sorin's Summary Judgment Motion on behalf of the restaurant and dismissed the case.  In its ruling, the Court agreed that the Plaintiff's admissions in her own deposition regarding her lack of evidence and the speculative nature of her claim barred her from recovery, and entitled the restaurant to dismissal.
